A space for youth to grow.
Regular programs, real community, and service opportunities for kids, teens, college students, and families at Bilal Masjid — all year round.
Today at Bilal Masjid.
Built from scratch. Built to last.
Bilal Youth Affairs started in 2025 with a simple belief: that the youth of Bilal Masjid deserve a real, consistent place to belong. It started with a teacher, a few volunteers, and a commitment to show up every single month and make something happen.
In our first year, we launched programming across six age groups, hosted 15 events during Ramadan alone, and grew to reach 170+ community members every month.
Learn more about BYAConsistent, recurring programming every month — youth nights, family events, service projects, and more.
Across all age groups, hundreds of community members show up to BYA programming every single month.
Every event is organized and led by community members — people from this masjid, this neighborhood, this zip code.
Something for every age.
We run at least three dedicated programs per month — one for teen boys, one for teen girls, and one for kids under 12 — plus family events, college hangouts, and young professional gatherings. Every program is led by a mentor or volunteer, so there's always a familiar face.
Monthly family story nights and age-appropriate activities in a safe, supervised environment. A gentle first step into the BYA community.
From mini-I'tikaaf camps during Ramadan to monthly hangouts and skill-building programs — designed for the preteen years.
Regular youth nights, guest speakers, service projects, and social events. Built for teens, run by people who actually show up.

We share event announcements, reminders, and community updates through WhatsApp. Join the group to stay in the loop — or reach out directly if you have questions about programs, volunteering, or anything else.
Interested in volunteering or mentoring? We're always looking for people who want to show up.
